Friedrich Konstantin Schlott has been a professional singer for over 20 years. He began performing at age four in local theatre and commercial work throughout Colorado where he grew up. His first recognition as a musician came as a classical pianist but he soon found his voice which proved to be his true calling. His coaching career began in his teens and he has been the music director for numerous musicals, concerts and opera in his career. He has taught technique for 13 years.
Friedrich has broad experience as a performing artist. He performed throughout the western half of the United States as a classical singer in opera, concert and as an actor in musical theatre.
Along with a demanding performing schedule, Friedrich spent much of his career as a music minister, functioning as a director and vocal soloist, encompassing not only classical music but also in praise/worship music.
His vocal artistry has been recognized by winning many coveted vocal competitions.
Friedrich studied classical voice with Dr. Ronald Worstell at the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver, and Renee Skrevanos at the University of Colorado and was a featured performer in numerous Master Classes with Metropolitan Opera star Judith Christin. His studies include two years of pedagogy. He holds a B.S. in Music from The University of Colorado.
